Detailed description
This written language activity, ‘What’s Really Happening?’ supports language development by encouraging students to practise adding circumstantial details with adverbial groups and prepositional phrases. It is aimed at developing students’ awareness of what is really happening in a sentence by discovering details that explain where, when, how and why.
