Detailed description
The learning activity, ‘Tiling’ provides opportunities for students to explore the ways in which shapes can (or cannot) tessellate. They experiment with different polygons and discuss why and how some shapes and combinations of shapes can be used for tiling. An answer sheet is provided and includes teaching notes with suggestions for supporting learning and further exploration.
