This reading comprehension activity, ‘The Secret Garden’ asks students to answer comprehension questions about a story in which a young girl is going to live with an uncle who she barely knows. It is aimed at developing students’ awareness of semantics and encourages them to describe the main conflict and recall the main idea and find supporting details.
