This reading comprehension activity, ‘The Mystery at the Cabin’ asks students to answer comprehension questions about a story in which two children solve what has been stealing food scraps at night. It is aimed at developing students’ awareness of semantics and encourages them to form opinions, as well as consider the author’s purpose.
