This set of ‘Reading Strategy Bookmarks: Making Connections’ is formatted as two simple colourful bookmarks per full page that can be printed and distributed to students to provide them with helpful reading strategies. They prompt students to connect what they’re reading with their prior knowledge of world events, other texts that they have read and their own experiences. This resource can be printed onto card or paper, cut, stuck back-to-back, and laminated. Each bookmark has a hole that can be hole punched to attach a ribbon or string.
