This set of ‘Reading Strategy Bookmarks: Determining Importance’ is formatted as two simple colourful bookmarks per full page that can be printed and distributed to students to provide them with helpful reading strategies. They prompt students to identify the important ideas and constantly ask what is the main idea of the text and how do the details support this idea. This resource can be printed onto card or paper, cut, stuck back-to-back, and laminated. Each bookmark has a hole that can be hole punched to attach a ribbon or string.
