This quick reference chart ‘Questioning, Clarifying and Predicting’ shows students questions to ask while reading a text to help them understand it. It is aimed at encouraging students to ask themselves questions as they read a text in order to gain a deeper understanding of its purpose, guess what will happen next and make a personal connection with the story.
