This quick reference chart ‘Questioning, Clarifying, and Predicting’ shows students questions to ask themselves to help them understand a text. It is aimed at encouraging students to ask themselves questions as they read a text in order to gain a deeper understanding of its purpose, predict what will happen next and make a personal connection with the story.
