Detailed description

This ‘Pre-Writing Fun: Wriggling Eel’ activity is perfect for supporting students in practising an important pre-writing shape. The activity provides decreasingly thick lines for students to follow with their pen or pencil to practise the shape, allowing them more independence and more opportunity to develop their pen control skills as they progress. A pink circle at the start of the shape indicates where students should place their pen to start drawing and each shape is accompanied by a colour illustration to add some fun context to the shape. The pre-writing fun activity can be used as a full sheet or cut into in three strips then laminated and reused. See the full collection of Pre-Writing Fun activities, covering the range of pre-writing shapes that students need to master before they begin writing letters and numbers.
