Detailed description
This reading comprehension activity, ‘Perseus and Medusa’ asks students to answer comprehension questions about a story in which Perseus defeats Medusa. It is aimed at developing students’ awareness of semantics and encourages them to look critically at the language used in a narrative text in order to ascertain the meaning and usage of individual words and phrases. It also encourages students to recall information, draw conclusions and describe the central idea.
