This reading comprehension activity, ‘Oh Captain! My Captain!’ asks students to answer questions about a poem about the loss of the great American leader Abraham Lincoln. It is aimed at increasing students’ awareness of semantics and encourages students to recall information, form opinions and think about word meanings.
