Detailed description
This learning activity, ‘Multiple Mirrors’ reinforces the commutative property for multiplication. Students shade in numbers on an array according to rules and notice the patterns that emerge. Understanding the patterns helps students recognise when they have missed a particular product in their array. An answer sheet is provided and includes accompanying teaching notes with suggestions for supporting learning and further exploration.
