Detailed description
In the learning activity, ‘Megamaze’ students have to help Crusty the Crayfish negotiate a maze to find his way home. They need to use compass directions and distance measurements to tell Crusty how to do this. An answer sheet is provided and the accompanying teaching notes have suggestions for supporting learning, for example by playing a game in which students move in line-dance formation by following similar directional instructions.
