Detailed description
This graphic organiser, ‘KWL Chart’ prompts students to explore what they know about a topic, what they want to learn and what they have learnt following the process. This vertical table is clearly formatted to encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning and to assist teachers in establishing their students’ prior knowledge. It can also be used as an informal, student-centred assessment.
