Detailed description
This reading comprehension activity, ‘Gift of an Apple Tree’ asks students to answer questions about a story in which a king makes an old farmer give him his beautiful apple tree. It is aimed at increasing students’ awareness of semantics and encourages students to recall information, make predictions, draw conclusions and form opinions.
