Detailed description
The hands-on activity, ‘Cut It Out’ gives students grid paper and instructions to help them explore the capacity (volume) of rectangular prisms. By making their own cut-and-folded open box, students can count and check by calculations, the volume of cuboid shapes. They can record their findings on the learning activity. An answer sheet is provided and includes teaching notes with suggestions for supporting learning and further exploration.
