Detailed description
This reading comprehension activity, ‘Milk-Carton Bird Feeder’ helps students make a bird feeder out of a milk carton and asks students comprehension questions about making a bird feeder. It is aimed at developing students’ awareness of semantics and encourages them to think about text organisation and to look critically at the language used in an informative and instructional text in order to ascertain the meaning and usage of individual words and phrases.
