In the real-life problem solving activity, ‘Food for All’, Roimata has to work out how many people are coming to a community dinner, then calculate how much food and drink will be needed. Students need to apply their skills of estimation, multiplication, and division to help Roimata. This activity includes comprehensive teaching notes to be read before beginning the activity with students, as they feature useful background information and suggestions for supporting learning. An answer sheet is also provided.
