Detailed description

This worksheet, ‘Australian Habitats’ consists of three overlapping circles and is a great resource to help students visualise the relationship between different Australian landscapes. It can be used to compare and contrast the differences between the desert, the rainforest and the coastal landscapes of Australia. Using the Venn diagram format, students can also visualise the similarities that all of these landscapes share, allowing for further discussion into why or why not species are only found in certain habitats. It is a fun activity that can be differentiated for all ability levels.
