This reading comprehension activity, ‘A Sweet Treat for Summer’ asks students to answer comprehension questions about making fruit kebabs. It is aimed at developing students’ awareness of semantics and encourages them to recall specific details from an informative and instructional text, draw conclusions, as well as to think about text organisation and text convention, such as bold numbers.
